Ignite is currently seeking driven, detail-oriented Cloud Engineer to join our team! This position can be filled in Dayton, OH, Huntsville, AL, St. Louis, MO or Remote. Contingent on contract award.

Job Requirements and Qualifications: 

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or related field
• Strong communication and organizational skills
• US citizenship active TS/SCI clearance
• Must possess an IAT Level II certification (e.g., Security+, CCNA Security, CySA+).
• Cloud Platforms: Working knowledge of Cloud-based technologies, specifically Amazon Web Services (AWS).
• Operating Systems: Hands-on experience with both Windows and Linux operating systems.
• Scripting: Experience utilizing PowerShell for automation or administration.
• Ticket Management: Efficiently resolves help desk tickets using Jira Service Management (JSM) in a demanding, fast-paced environment.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Cloud Certifications: Fundamental AWS certifications, such as AWS Certified Cloud Practitioner or higher.
• Advanced Security Credentials: Active IAT Level III certification (e.g., CISSP, CASP+, or SecurityX).
• Atlassian Administration: * Proven experience administering Jira and Confluence, including user management, workflow configuration, and plugin implementation.
• Possesses a combination of practical Jira administration experience and formal Atlassian Jira Administrator training.

Security Clearance Requirements:  

Must have an active TS/SCI Security Clearance or the ability to obtain one.

Education Requirements: 

• Bachelor’s degree in relevant discipline.

Other Requirements: 

Must be a US citizen and be able to obtain and hold an active Security Clearance
