Job Summary

As a Customer Service Representative on our Credit Operations team, you'll be responsible for handling incoming customer service calls for a major US mobile wireless carrier. You'll work closely with customers and retail store representatives to resolve issues related to credit applications and approvals. Your exceptional communication skills, problem-solving abilities, and passion for delivering outstanding customer experiences will make you an invaluable asset to our team.

Key Responsibilities

* Handle incoming customer service calls in a professional and courteous manner, providing a positive experience for every caller

  • Resolve issues related to credit applications and approvals, working closely with customers and retail store representatives
  • Utilize your knowledge of credit standards and financial information to make informed decisions and provide effective solutions
  • Collaborate with internal teams to resolve complex issues and ensure seamless customer experiences
  • Meet and exceed performance metrics, including call handling times, first-call resolution rates, and customer satisfaction scores
  • Participate in ongoing training and development to enhance your skills and knowledge, staying up-to-date on industry trends and best practices

Essential Qualifications

* High school diploma or equivalent required; associate's or bachelor's degree preferred

  • Minimum 6 months of customer service experience, either in a similar role or in a customer-facing environment
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with customers and colleagues
  • Proficiency in basic accounting principles and credit standards, including credit scores and financial information
  • Ability to work efficiently, focusing on quality and standards using resources and tools
  • High computer proficiency, typing skills, and overall technical knowledge
  • Availability to work full-time (40 hours per week) with flexibility to include weekend days, evenings, or holidays as schedules dictate

Preferred Qualifications

* Previous experience in a call center or customer service environment, preferably in the telecommunications or financial services industry

  • Knowledge of credit scoring models and financial analysis software
  • Experience with CRM software and other customer service tools
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to think critically and make sound decisions
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, prioritizing tasks and managing multiple projects simultaneously

Compensation, Perks, and Benefits

  • $15/hour plus ability to earn monthly bonus incentives (equates to earning up to $19/hour)
