Job Summary
We're looking for a highly skilled Data Entry Specialist to join our team on a contract basis. As a Data Entry Specialist, you'll be responsible for accurately and efficiently entering data into our shared excel spreadsheet, reviewing and processing claims, and ensuring compliance with metrics and quality standards. Key Responsibilities
• Data Entry: Enter data into our shared excel spreadsheet with high accuracy and speed, using a quiet and private working environment with a high-speed, reliable internet connection.
- Typing Test: Complete a typing test with a minimum speed of 38 WPM to demonstrate your data entry skills.
- Claims Processing: Review, process, and adjust claims according to IDR awards and settlement agreements.
- Compliance: Ensure that the NSA IDR Claims Ops Team meets metrics and quality standards to remain compliant.
- Data Verification: Compare data with source documents, or re-enter data in verification format to detect errors.
- Log Maintenance: Maintain logs of activities and completed work.
Key Requirements and Technology Experience
• Excel Experience: Intermediate to advanced Excel experience is required, with a strong focus on data entry and manipulation.
- Outlook Experience: Experience with Outlook is essential, with a focus on email management and data entry.
- Attention to Detail: Strong attention to detail is crucial, with the ability to accurately enter data and detect errors.
- Data Entry Speed: A minimum data entry speed of 38 WPM is required, with the ability to maintain accuracy and efficiency.
- Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills are essential, with the ability to interact with colleagues and stakeholders.
- Interpersonal Skills: Strong interpersonal skills are required, with the ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
- Medical Claims Experience: Experience with medical claims and Amisys is preferred, but not essential.
Education and Experience
• High School Diploma or GED: A high school diploma or GED is required, with previous experience in data entry and computer applications.
