Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced full stack software engineer to join our team. As a key member of our product development or delivery and integration team, you will be responsible for designing, coding, and implementing software that makes us a vital part of our customers' digital lives. Key Responsibilities

Programming Development

+ Contribute to software development as a member of a agile team by participating in code reviews and continuous integration practices. + Troubleshoot critical software components and identify code gaps for remediation. + Enable the deployment, support, and testing of software across test, integration, and production environments. + Automate solutions in test or production environments. + Scale applications based on projected demand.

Leadership

+ Lead a small team of engineers and empower them to reach their full potential. + Impact colleagues with innovative changes and enhancements by challenging the status quo and taking calculated risks.

You will be part of a fast-paced, innovative team that enables group/continuous scientific solutions using cutting-edge technologies (Hadoop/Big Data, Data Science/ML, Python, SQL, UNIX, Shell Scripting) to deliver innovative solutions across multiple lines of business.

Requirements

* Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field.

• 3+ years of experience in software development and leading teams of engineers and scrum teams.
• 3+ years of active experience working with Hive, Hadoop, and Spark (core, SQL, and PySpark).
• Strong data warehousing concepts.
• Knowledge of financial reporting environment is a plus.
• Master of distributed environment.
• Active involvement in programming using Java or Python/Scala.
• Master of Hadoop and Spark design and its functioning standards.
• Involved insight on composing and grasping complex SQL (Hive/PySpark-dataframes), improving joins while handling large amounts of data.
• Experience in UNIX shell scripting.
• Ability to design and develop advanced data pipelines for batch and real-time data processing.
• Should have insight in analysis, design, development, testing, and execution of system applications.
• Exhibited ability to create and record technical and practical recommendations and analyze software and system processing streams.

Preferred Qualifications

* Knowledge of cloud platforms like GCP/AWS, building Microservices and mobile applications, will be a plus.

• 3+ years of experience in designing and building solutions using Kafka streams or queues.
• Experience with GitHub/Bitbucket and using CI/CD pipelines.
• Experience with NoSQL i.e., HBase, Couchbase, MongoDB is a plus.
• Excellent technical and analytical skills.
• Great communication skills.
• Phenomenal project management skills.
