Job Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Data Entry Clerk to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for accurately transferring information into our database system, verifying data, updating existing information, and creating spreadsheets. Your excellent computer skills, attention to detail, and ability to work accurately and efficiently will be essential in ensuring the smooth operation of our database system.
Responsibilities
As a Data Entry Clerk at arenaflex, your key responsibilities will include:
- Using a keyboard, optical scanners, or other office equipment to transfer information into the database system
- Collecting information directly from customers and entering information into the database
- Collaborating with other departments to ensure the smooth flow of information and correct data entry
- Creating accurate spreadsheets in Microsoft Excel
- Confirming accuracy of data by comparing to original documents
- Creating reports or otherwise retrieving data from the database
- Performing regular backups of data
- Maintaining an organized filing system of original documents
- Assisting in the development and implementation of data entry procedures and protocols
- Identifying and correcting any errors or discrepancies found in the data
- Handling sensitive information with confidentiality and professionalism
Qualifications
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- A high school diploma or equivalent
- Previous experience as a Data Entry Clerk or in a similar position is preferred
- A typing speed of 45 words per minute with a high level of accuracy
- Skilled in Microsoft Word and Excel
- Understanding of databases
- Familiarity with standard office equipment such as fax machines and printers
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Attention to detail
- SAP B1 experience is preferred
Expected Salary
The expected salary for this role is $15 - $18 per hour, depending on experience.
