Regional Sales Manager, Industrial Wastewater

Work from home Full-time role Hiring

As a Regional Sales Manager, you will play a key role in delivering Alfa Laval’s advanced technologies and services to industrial wastewater clients across the U.S. You will build strong customer relationships, identify new opportunities, and help drive growth in a mission‑critical industry that supports a more sustainable future. You'll partner closely with engineering, technical services, and business unit teams to deliver value‑driven solutions tailored to customer needs.

This is a high‑impact, customer‑facing role ideal for someone who enjoys working independently, influencing strategic decisions, and solving complex challenges in the field.

Market Focus

We are seeking sales professionals with experience or interest in one or more of the following key markets:

Dairy and Renewable Natural Gas (RNG)

Pharmaceutical and Engineering, Procurement & Construction (EPC)

If you have a background, interest, or network in any of these industries, we encourage you to apply.

Location Preference

This is a remote role with 30–50% travel across the U.S.

Preference is given to candidates located near their supported market or within a major airport hub:

Dairy & RNG: Midwest U.S. preferred

Pharma & EPC: East Coast U.S. preferred

As a part to the team, you will:

  • Identify and pursue capital equipment and service sales opportunities.

  • Develop and manage a portfolio to achieve sales targets, including planning, executing, and closing business.

  • Engage key decision‑makers at industrial facilities and engineering firms to influence purchasing decisions.

  • Travel to customer sites to build relationships, assess needs, and present tailored solutions.

  • Collaborate cross‑functionally to deliver aligned technical and commercial solutions.

  • Use CRM tools and sales analytics to manage pipelines, track progress, and forecast opportunities.

  • Monitor market trends, gather competitive intelligence, and identify emerging technologies.

  • Follow established sales processes and tools to ensure consistent, high‑quality customer engagement.

What you know

You have a Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Environmental Science, Business, or related field (or equivalent work experience), and:

  • At least 3 years of industrial sales experience, ideally in water or wastewater markets.

  • A solid understanding of municipal and industrial water treatment processes, especially separation technologies.

  • Experience in dairy, RNG, pharmaceutical, or EPC industries is highly beneficial.

  • Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.

  • Proficiency with CRM systems and a data‑driven approach to sales.

  • Ability to travel 30–50% within the U.S.

At Alfa Laval, we pride ourselves on creating an inclusive and dynamic workplace that values diverse perspectives and experiences. While we typically welcome applicants from all locations, currently we are prioritizing candidates who reside in the US or have an established presence in the area.

What’s in It for you?

Alfa Laval offers a competitive salary and full benefits package, including Medical/dental/vision/life, 401(k) plan, and more. At Alfa Laval, we carefully consider a wide range of compensation factors to determine your total compensation package. We rely on market indicators to determine compensation and consider your specific job family, background, skills, and experience to get it right. These considerations can cause your compensation to vary and will also be dependent on your location. The base salary for this role is typically $100,000-$120,000 annually.

Alfa Laval is an equal opportunity employer. We are committed to building an inclusive and diverse workforce. All employment is decided on the basis of qualifications, merit, or business need, without regard to race, color, religion, age, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity, national origin, disability, or protected veteran status.
