Job Description

We are currently seeking a Senior Account Manager – Drug Channel reporting to the Director of Drug & Dollar Channels. This position will be responsible for managing Primo Brands partnerships with Drug Channel customers across the US Market, driving performance and execution that is aligned with business and customer strategies, as well as achieving profitable sales objectives.  Position is remote home based, ideally in the Chicago or Boston markets.  This position involves 25-30% travel.

Salary:  $120,176 - $150,112.  This position is eligible for an annual bonus.

Responsibilities:

Key responsibilities for this position include but are not limited to

  • Results:  Lead and deliver the Business Plan (JBP, Financials, Forecast and Trade Management, etc).
  • Cross-Functional:  Key Customer and business advocate liaising with all cross-functional partners such as Customer Development / Sales Operations, Supply Chain, Route to Market, Finance, Marketing, etc to ensure goal alignment that drives Primo Brands and Customer objectives.
  • Large Customer Chain Management: Develop JBP business relationships with key Customers to ensure strategic alignment and continuously improve customer satisfaction through effective selling presentations that implement approved Customer Plans
  • Negotiating: Ongoing negotiations of key customer contracts and business development programs and concepts, leading to long-term profitable partnerships
  • Customer Planning: Develop and execute key Customer Growth Plans through the identified Integrated Business Planning process and within the company provided investment guardrails
  • Profitability: Ownership and effective management of customer investment to drive net sales targets
  • Customer Planning & Administration: Work within customer systems for new item set up, deal management, etc. Utilize TPM to forecast volume and annual trade spend. Additionally, manage deductions and reclaim any unauthorized deductions in addition to managing customer rebate payments & growth programs.
  • Manage Broker partners to facilitate key administrative initiatives.
  • Budget Management: Drive profitable growth while enhancing relationships with key retailers and delivering promotional support to drive portfolio sales.
Qualifications:

Key qualifications for this position include but are not limited to

  • 6+ years experience in Large Account Customer Management; Headquarter Account experience required.
  • Pharmacy Channel experience encouraged.
  • DSD route to market experience preferred.
  • Strong current relationships in the CPG Industry and Top Chain Retailers.
  • Proficient in Category Management principles.
  • Financial Acumen and Trade Management practices.
  • Ability to creatively develop new strategies, processes, practices, and programs that will substantially enhance a consumer centric approach.
  • Self-starter and collaborative mindset.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office, Nielsen or Circana, Retailer Specific Gateways.
  • Must be able to travel up to 25-30% of the time.
