About the Role

We're looking for a hands-on SEO Content Specialist who thrives on systems, processes, and measurable outcomes.

This role combines on-page SEO, local SEO, and content execution from research to publishing.

You'll be responsible for implementing repeatable SEO workflows at scale across multiple client websites, ensuring accuracy, consistency, and performance improvement.

Core Responsibilitie

• Research competitors and build on-page SEO strategies for client sites.

• Plan, create, and publish content using WordPress (and occasionally Shopify).

• Write SEO-optimized articles using ChatGPT or other AI tools to accelerate content workflows.

• Implement on-page SEO updates (titles, meta descriptions, internal linking, and content structure).

• Manage and optimize Google My Business, Apple Maps, and Bing Places listings.

• Use Ahrefs (or equivalent tools) to research keywords, analyze backlinks, and measure ranking performance.

• Report on SEO progress, opportunities, and performance metrics.

Required Skills & Experience

• 2-4 years of experience in on-page SEO (this is the core skillset).

• Proven experience in local SEO (Google Maps, Apple Maps, Bing).

• Hands-on experience managing and editing websites in WordPress (Shopify experience is a plus).

• Comfortable using AI tools (e.g., ChatGPT) for keyword-driven content creation.

• Proficiency with Ahrefs, Google Analytics, and Google Search Console.

• Strong understanding of SEO fundamentals: site structure, keyword mapping, metadata, schema, and optimization best practices.

• Excellent written English and strong attention to detail.

• Strong sense of accountability focuses on outcomes and performance improvements, not just task completion.
