A. PROFILE

Role Title: Digital Consumer Senior Specialist Reporting to: Digital Advertising Manager Division: Marketing Communications Department / Section: Marketing

B. CONTEXT

Purpose: The purpose of the role is to support the Digital Advertising Senior Manager on the day to day operations. Context: This Department will be responsible for executing and implementing consumer business strategy and building brand affinity and connect in order to achieve growth in customer market share and revenue market share; through focus on the various business and distribution channels and customer experience. It will develop and execute the companys digital and commercial strategy covering the consumer segment; improving user engagement and value through consumer understanding, product innovation, integrated marketing & communications, pricing, strategic bundling and customer lifetime value management.

U9 is increasing investment in online advertising and needs to ensure that every kyat is well spent

C. ROLE ACCOUNTABILITIES

Updating Website Content in relation to digital promotions

  • Work with Marcom, PR and products team to tailor content on the website related to a product promotion and ensuring correct information are uploaded.

Scheduling Social Media Posts & Content

  • Following up both agency and internal stakeholders to ensure timely posting of relevant social content. By Social, this includes all social media channels managed by U9 but not limited to Facebook, LinkedIn, Viber and Twitter.
  • Checking Myanmar content for both syntax and semantics errors
  • Ensure tone of voice is consistent on all social contents.
  • Update Social Media tracker and other internal KPIs under social
  • Monitor social media engagement and work on engaging social content ideas for campaigns

Monitoring Digital Ads Performance

  • Check monthly running digital campaigns are running smoothly as per media plan
  • Monitor the activity of competitor digital advertising and prepare report that covers the customers sentiments
  • Work with the agency to provide the necessary creatives for digital ads as well as make sure the digital ads were delivered according to the plan

Administrative Support

  • Follow up internal admin on the timely production of POs/PRs for monthly digital media investment and other POs related to digital media activities.
  • Chase the agency at least twice a month on POEs or proof of execution on all campaigns that went live on a given month.

Insights Support

  • Provide insights on page behaviours as well as on both existing and fresh materials launched from social channels and sharing them on relevant stakeholders.
  • Monitor website analytics and flag any irregular behaviours e.g sudden drop of visitors, increase in bounce rate etc.

  • Efficiency of digital advertising spend
  • Content posting in the website
  • Social media contents management

E. WORKING RELATIONSHIPS & DECISION MAKING

Interacts with: Internal: Brand Com & Products External: Agencies

Decision Making Decision making for tone of voice on content will be in conjunction with Marcom head

F. EXPERIENCE AND QUALIFICATIONS

Minimum Experience & Essential Knowledge

  • 4-5 years overall experience with basic knowledge on social online marketing
  • Proven hands-on experience in digital channels (social media, websites, mobile apps, email/SMS, paid digital campaigns)
  • Experience working with marketing analytics tools (e.g., Google Analytics, social media insights, campaign dashboards)
  • Good knowledge of branding, content development, and digital communication guidelines
  • Strong communication skills in English (written and verbal); local language proficiency is an advantage
  • Proficient in MS Office and basic digital marketing tools/platforms

Minimum Entry Qualifications

  • Bachelor Degree (OR) Bachelors degree in Marketing, Communications, Digital Media, Business Administration, or a related field
