Senior Accountant (Remote)
- Prepare accurate financial statements, balance sheets, and income statements, ensuring monthly account reconciliation for accurate records.
- Maintain compliance with financial regulations and company policies while overseeing the general ledger.
- Analyze costs, recommend strategies for optimization, and evaluate financial risks to implement controls.
- Develop and manage budgets, providing financial forecasts to support decision-making.
- Support Cordatus's client in back-office accounting functions, including managing A/P & A/R, bank reconciliations, and preparing periodic financial statements.
- Mentor junior staff and assist team managers with various tasks.
- Interact with clients through video calls (Zoom + MS Teams) and respond to queries via email/Slack/MS Teams live chats.
- Enter invoices and other accounting data into cloud-based accounting systems.
- Streamline accounting functions and operations for efficiency.
Job Specifications
- ACCA, MBA, or equivalent qualifications in accounting or finance.
- Proficiency in accounting software like QuickBooks, Xero, or SAP, as well as Microsoft Office tools.
- Fluent spoken and written English for effective communication with U.S.-based clients.
- Strong analytical skills to interpret financial data and provide actionable insights.
- Detail-oriented with strong problem-solving skills, ensuring accurate records and seamless remote work with reliable internet and a dedicated workspace.
- Comfortable working remotely as per US Time zones from Monday till Friday.
