Senior Copywriter
FINN Partners is looking for a senior copywriter who can turn ideas into work that connects with people. It’s not all about writing. The right person for this job is going to be able to spot opportunities others miss, take ownership of them, and make the work (and the people around it) better.
What You’ll Do:
- Craft headlines and copy that are sharp, original, and impossible to ignore
- Write scripts across formats—broadcast, digital, social, and everything in between
- Translate strategy into compelling creative ideas and cohesive campaign systems
- Build narratives that carry across channels and scale across platforms
- Collaborate with art directors, strategists, and clients to bring ideas to life
- Take ownership of projects from concept through execution
- Professional experience in copywriting or content within an agency or comparable creative environment (typically 7-10 years), or equivalent experience demonstrating similar scope and impact
- A portfolio demonstrating a range of work, including campaign thinking
- Understanding of brand voice, tone, and storytelling across different media
- Ability to connect strategy to creative output
- Strong communication and collaboration skills
- Ability to manage projects and contribute both independently and as part of a team
- A thoughtful point of view grounded in strategy, with the ability to bring others along
- Experience developing integrated campaigns across multiple channels
- A knack for finding the simplest, most powerful way to say something
