Sr. Engineer, Software - Simulation/Hardware Modeling

You will work on simulation and hardware modeling, building and validating our open-source, high-performance, bit-accurate C++-based hardware simulator that enables developers to run AI workloads on existing and future Tenstorrent hardware. This is a unique role that sits at the forefront of Tenstorrent’s future generations of AI hardware, helping to build, shape, and define state-of-the-art accelerator architectures! This role is hybrid, and is based out of Austin, TX. We welcome candidates at various experience levels for this role. - A passionate software engineer eager to work on simulator technologies and the challenges of AI hardware, whether from compilers, systems, or broader software backgrounds.
- Fluent in C++ and Python, with experience building complex systems that bridge the gap between software and low-level hardware details.
- Excited by C++ optimization and low-level system software programming.
- A collaborative problem-solver who thrives in open-source and enjoys working closely with hardware and software engineers.
What We Need

Compensation for all engineers at Tenstorrent ranges from $100k - $500k including base and variable compensation targets. Experience, skills, education, background and location all impact the actual offer made.
