Associate Music Producer
VML, part of WPP, is a leading creative company that combines brand experience, customer experience, and commerce. The Associate Music Producer will support music-related productions, coordinate project phases, and facilitate communication between the agency and music suppliers to ensure projects are completed on time and within budget.
Responsibilities
- Plan, schedule and musically support specific project activities toward defined objectives and adhere to defined production requirements
- Facilitate communication between the agency and our music suppliers
- Maintain project processes, allowing for increased efficiency and usability of resources
- Responsible for leading defined phases of music projects to ensure they are completed on time, within budget and at the highest level of quality
- Develop integrated music production schedules from conception to completion
Skills
- Bachelor's Degree in music, film, photography, theatre, marketing or relevant field, or equivalent work experience
- 1–2 years of experience/internships in production, advertising and/or the music industry
- Demonstrated ability to manage and lead across multi-office internal agency environment
- Excellent communication abilities, both written and verbal
- Excellent oral, written and presentation communication skills
- Must be extremely organized, detail-oriented and capable of self-managing and multitasking in a fast-paced, demanding environment
- Excellent problem-solving skills
- Able to apply critical, strategic and musical thinking
- Stress-tolerant, quick-thinking, flexible and accurate
- Able to quickly understand new technology concepts
- Strong interpersonal communication skills as a team leader and team player
- A skilled, creative, confident presenter and negotiator
