[Remote] Associate Attorney
Note: The job is a remote job and is open to candidates in USA. Stealth Law Firm is a highly regarded firm seeking a Junior Tax Attorney to join its growing practice. This fully remote opportunity is for a motivated early-career attorney looking to build deep technical expertise across a range of federal and state tax matters.
Responsibilities
- Assist with tax planning and advisory matters for individuals, partnerships, and corporate clients
- Conduct legal research on complex federal and California tax issues
- Support transactional tax work, including entity structuring and reorganizations
- Draft memoranda, opinions, and client-facing correspondence
- Collaborate with senior attorneys on tax controversy and audit matters as needed
Skills
- J.D. from an accredited law school
- Active California bar license (or ability to waive in)
- 0–3 years of experience in tax law (law firm, clerkship, or government experience welcomed)
- Strong analytical, research, and writing skills
- Detail-oriented with the ability to manage multiple assignments
- LL.M. in Taxation
