Senior Manager, Provider Enablement Workforce Planning - Remote

The Senior Manager, Provider Enablement Workforce Planning is responsible for leading workforce planning for Provider Enablement functions, including long‑term planning, short‑term planning, and resource management. This role ensures the right staffing strategies are in place to support Claim Enablement programs—such as quality audit programs and training—and to expand workforce planning support across broader Provider Enablement functions, including Provider Call and Network Operations. The role partners closely with Enablement leadership, Operations, Finance, and Workforce Planning peers to translate business strategy into scalable, executable capacity plans that support quality, productivity, and financial outcomes across enablement functions.

Key Responsibilities

Lead end‑to‑end workforce planning for Provider Enablement functions, including long‑term forecasting, short‑term planning, and ongoing resource management. Develop and maintain capacity models to support Claim Enablement programs, including quality audit activities, training, coaching, and operational readiness. Translate business demand, productivity assumptions, and program requirements into actionable staffing and capacity plans. Partner with Enablement and Operations leaders to anticipate demand changes driven by program expansion, regulatory requirements, or operational strategy. Provide oversight of short‑term and monthly capacity planning cycles, including variance analysis and risk identification. Manage resource allocation across multiple enablement work types, ensuring alignment to priorities, skill requirements, and service objectives. Lead the expansion of workforce planning capabilities across broader Provider Enablement, including Provider Call and Network Operations. Deliver clear insights and recommendations on staffing risks, trade‑offs, and mitigation strategies. Lead and develop workforce planning team members supporting Enablement functions. Drive continuous improvement of planning models, processes, and tools to improve accuracy, transparency, and agility. Partner with Finance to support budget planning, forecasting, and financial impact assessments related to staffing changes. Participate in operational and planning forums, providing workforce planning expertise to support decision‑making.

Required Qualifications

High School Diploma required, Bachelors degree strongly preferred. 5 years of workforce planning, capacity planning, or workforce management experience. 5 + years experience with Claim Enablement programs, including quality audit or training functions. 5 + years direct people leadership experience. Demonstrated experience leading long‑term planning, short‑term planning, and resource management functions. Strong analytical skills with experience building and maintaining capacity and forecasting models. Experience supporting enablement, quality, training, or back‑office operational functions. Proven ability to partner effectively across Operations, Finance, and Enablement leadership. Experience supporting healthcare, provider operations, or regulated environments. Experience expanding workforce planning support across new operational areas. Advanced proficiency with workforce planning and analytics tools. Experience working in matrixed or multi‑partner environments. Candidates who reside within 50 miles of the following locations may be asked to work in person on a hybrid schedule (three days per week): Bloomfield, CT, Chattanooga, TN, Denver, CO, St Louis, MO, or Scottsdale, AZ. If you will be working at home occasionally or permanently, the internet connection must be obtained through a cable broadband or fiber optic internet service provider with speeds of at least 10Mbps download/5Mbps upload. For this position, we anticipate offering an annual salary of 104,400 - 174,000 USD / yearly, depending on relevant factors, including experience and geographic location.
