They are hiring multiple civil litigation associate attorneys to handle various litigation matters, including trials and appeals, while offering a friendly work environment with flexible hours.
Responsibilities
- Handle and assist with all aspects of civil litigation – direct client contact, preparing case evaluations, drafting and responding to written discovery, taking and defending depositions, legal research, drafting and arguing various motions including dispositive motions, mediations, trials, writing appellate briefs and arguing appeals, and handling other day-to-day tasks required of litigation files
Skills
- Must have an active license with the California State Bar (no exceptions)
- Excellent brief writing skills
- Strong research skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Experience arguing motions in court a plus
- Trial experience a plus
- Appellate experience a plus
