Investment Analyst
WTW is seeking an Investment Consulting analyst to support their Canadian Investment practice. The role involves providing support on investment services for Defined Benefit and Defined Contribution plans, including performance measurement, manager monitoring, and strategic asset allocation.
Responsibilities
- Produce quarterly investment performance reports by preparing written commentary and analysis for delivery to clients by required deadlines
- Liaise with investment managers and other providers to collect information and conduct analysis and research as necessary to produce reports
- Prepare written and analytic material that provide recommendations and actions for a variety of services and deliverables
- Work together as part of dedicated client teams providing a variety of services to clients
- Build relationships internally and collaborate effectively on cross-functional teams
Skills
- Undergraduate degree with 0 to 3 years of experience
- Interest in or progress towards the CFA or FSA is desirable
- Interest in and knowledge of investments and financial markets
- Effective oral and written communication skills
- Comfortable in a team environment and working in a dynamic and fast-paced environment
- Ability to work independently with strong analytical skills
- Effective organizational skills to manage multiple deadlines and projects
- Attention to detail and able to deliver accurate and high-quality work
- Working knowledge of Excel, PowerPoint and Word
