Financial Services Representative
Charles Schwab is committed to helping clients own their financial futures by providing innovative financial services. In this role, you will educate clients on investment strategies and assist them with trading tools and market mechanics while also taking ownership of complex issues to deliver effective solutions.
Responsibilities
- Educate clients about investment strategies, trading tools, market mechanics, and retirement choices
- Engage with clients when answering inbound calls and tackle complex issues to offer the best possible solution
- Attend the Schwab Service Academy for paid training and support to obtain Securities Industry Essentials and FINRA Series 7 & 63 licenses
Skills
- Ability to work 8:00am – 4:30 pm Monday through Friday during Schwab's training program, on-site
- After training is complete, the ability to work assigned shift to accommodate business needs to include evening, overnight, and weekend options
- Previous customer service or client relationship experience
- Bachelor's degree or higher from an accredited university
- Ability to adapt to changes in the market and business
- Passion for providing service to clients
- Motivation to learn about the securities industry including the basic principles of equity, option, and mutual fund transactions
- Robust communication to include influencing and client engagement skills
- Desire to be part of a supportive and collaborative team
- Demonstrated success navigating multiple computer applications
