They are seeking an Employee Benefits Consultant to close company-generated referrals, build a book of business, and manage long-term client relationships with a focus on smarter benefit strategies.

Responsibilities

  • Close company-generated referrals
  • Build your own book of business
  • Consult employers on smarter benefit strategies
  • Manage clients long-term (with residual income)
  • Lead renewals and strategic discussions
  • Conduct discovery meetings
  • Gather and analyze employer data
  • Present level-funded, self-funded, and community-driven solutions
  • Manage the full sales process
  • Lead renewal strategy
  • Coordinate vendor relationships
  • Educate employees
  • Retain and grow accounts
  • Work closely with leadership and account management
  • Participate in strategy sessions and ongoing education
  • Use Microsoft tools and CRM systems to stay organized

  • Comfortable leading conversations with business owners and CFOs
  • Motivated to build recurring income
  • Team-oriented (this matters here)
  • Must obtain or maintain a Health & Life license
