What We’re Looking For NAVIX Diagnostix is seeking an experienced Remote MRI Technologist to support our Remote MRI Services program through secure, real-time remote imaging technology. In this role, the Remote MRI Technologist remotely operates MRI scanner consoles to support the acquisition of high-quality diagnostic images used by radiologists and physicians in patient diagnosis and treatment planning. - Working collaboratively with on-site MRI staff, the Remote MRI Technologist executes imaging protocols, optimizes scan parameters, and ensures image quality while maintaining strict adherence to MRI safety and regulatory standards. This position plays a vital role in helping partner facilities maintain consistent MRI coverage, reduce operational disruptions, and extend imaging hours. The ideal candidate demonstrates strong MRI clinical expertise, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work independently in a remote environment while supporting multiple sites. Essential Job Responsibilities

  • Remotely operate MRI scanner consoles and execute imaging protocols using secure, real-time connectivity
  • Perform MRI examinations in accordance with physician orders and established protocols
  • Apply advanced knowledge of MRI imaging techniques and cross-sectional anatomy to support diagnostic accuracy
  • Select, adjust, and optimize scanning parameters to enhance image quality
  • Review MRI images for quality, completeness, and protocol adherence
  • Provide technical guidance and troubleshooting support to on-site MRI staff as needed
  • Archive, review, and manage imaging data within PACS and EMR/EHR systems
  • Collaborate remotely with radiologists, physicians, operations leadership, and healthcare staff to support timely diagnosis and treatment planning
  • Maintain compliance with HIPAA, OSHA, MRI safety standards, and NAVIX policies
  • Participate in continuing education and professional development to maintain certifications and clinical competency Minimum Qualifications Education
  • Associate degree in Radiologic Technology or related field required Certifications / Licensure
  • Current ARRT (MR) certification required
  • State licensure as applicable based on the jurisdiction where imaging studies are performed
  • Additional ARRT certifications preferred Skills and Competencies
  • MRI protocol execution and optimization
  • Strong knowledge of MRI safety standards
  • Proficiency with PACS and EHR systems
  • Clinical judgment and problem-solving skills
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Ability to work independently in a remote environment
  • Comfort working with specialized medical imaging technology Physical Demands
  • Ability to sit for extended periods while working at a computer workstation
