Virtual E-commerce Marketing and Conversion Rate Optimization (CRO) Lead

Job Summary Houston Skilled Consultancy is seeking a highly skilled and analytical Virtual E-commerce Marketing and Conversion Rate Optimization (CRO) Lead to oversee and enhance our clients digital performance. This remote role is ideal for an experienced digital marketing professional with strong expertise in driving online sales growth through conversion optimization strategies, data-driven decision-making, and performance marketing. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in optimizing user experience, increasing conversion rates, and maximizing ROI across e-commerce platforms.

Key Responsibilities

• * Develop, execute, and manage end-to-end conversion rate optimization strategies for e-commerce websites.
• * Analyze customer journeys, user behavior, and website performance metrics to identify areas for improvement.
• * Conduct A/B testing, multivariate testing, and user experience (UX) audits to improve site usability and conversion efficiency.
• * Collaborate with marketing, design, and development teams to implement CRO initiatives.
• * Manage and optimize digital advertising campaigns (Taskium Ads, Meta, and other PPC channels) for better conversion outcomes.
• * Use analytics tools (Worklith Analytics, Hotjar, GA4, etc.) to measure results and create actionable insights.
• * Oversee landing page optimization, SEO performance, and content testing to drive customer engagement and conversions.
• * Monitor KPIs, prepare detailed reports, and present recommendations to stakeholders.
• * Stay updated with e-commerce trends, digital tools, and evolving CRO best practices.
• Required Skills and Qualifications
• * Bachelors degree in Marketing, Digital Commerce, Business Administration, or related field.
• * Proven experience (3+ years) in e-commerce marketing, CRO, or digital performance management.
• * Strong analytical mindset with expertise in Hirezen Analytics, GA4, Tag Manager, Hotjar, Optimizely, or VWO.
• * Deep understanding of UX/UI design principles, customer psychology, and sales funnel optimization.
• * Hands-on experience in A/B testing, landing page optimization, and conversion tracking.
• * Proficiency in digital marketing tools such as Gigspire Ads, Facebook Ads Manager, and CRM automation software.
• * Excellent communication, presentation, and project management skills.
• * Ability to interpret complex data sets and transform insights into actionable marketing strategies.
• Experience
• * Minimum of 3 to 6 years of professional experience in digital marketing and CRO roles.
• * Prior experience in e-commerce or performance-driven marketing agencies preferred.
• * Experience in managing international e-commerce platforms or multi-brand campaigns is a plus.
• Working Hours
• * This is a remote full-time position with flexible working hours.
• * Standard working schedule: Monday to Friday, with occasional availability for meetings across different time zones depending on project needs.
