As a part-time Billing & Data Entry Specialist, you'll be an integral part of our team, contributing to the success of our organization and helping us achieve our goals.

Responsibilities

As a Billing & Data Entry Specialist at arenaflex, you'll be responsible for a variety of tasks that require attention to detail, organizational skills, and excellent communication abilities. Some of your key responsibilities will include:

  • Entering bills of lading into arenaflex's internal inquiry system with speed and accuracy
  • Learning and retaining industry terms related to billing, including National Motor Freight Classification
  • Communicating any paperwork issues to the Service Centers in a timely and professional manner
  • Performing all necessary audits as assigned to ensure accuracy and compliance
  • Entering proper Hazardous Materials bills as assigned, adhering to relevant regulations and guidelines
  • Assisting Service Centers with any questions or concerns related to billing, providing clear and concise guidance
  • Identifying and communicating all issues relevant to billing, ensuring prompt resolution and minimizing errors
  • Reviewing weekly Error Report for feedback and accuracy of corrections, implementing improvements as needed

  • Exceptional data entry skills, with the ability to work accurately and efficiently in a fast-paced environment
  • Ability to work late afternoons and evenings, as this is a 2nd shift position
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact effectively with colleagues and Service Centers
  • Basic knowledge of industry terms and concepts related to billing, with a willingness to learn and expand your expertise
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a flexible and adaptable approach to changing priorities and deadlines
