Job description: Responsible for planning, developing, and implementing Tier II and Tier III academic supports, instruction and interventions to students (small group or individually) that is aligned with the prescribed curriculum.

- Follows the prescribed curriculum with a high degree of fidelity
- Responsible for learning about the relevant curriculum used in the school sites and to tailor instruction and supports so that students will be able to participate in the curriculum when not working with the tutor
- Sufficiently familiar with relevant benchmarks and outcomes to assess student learning
- Use and administer identified and relevant assessments when appropriate
- Meet with instructional coach and/or school-based administrator for guidance and to discuss instructional practice, goals, and student progress
- Maintain any necessary records or documentation related to small group instruction and individual student observations
- Collaborate with teachers and share student observations as appropriate
- Complete any other academic interventions or related duties as directed by the schools administration
- Attend relevant professional development meetings and any required school site meetings as directed by the schools administration
- Flexibility in teaching and scheduling
- Bachelors Degree
- Experience as a teacher, counselor, paraprofessional, or intern or trainee in a program for children and/or adolescents
- Demonstrated experience and ability working with administrators, teachers, and students
- Demonstrated experience and ability in assisting with team instruction
- Preference for certification in grade or content area
- Preference will be given to grade PreK 12 certified teachers within the relevant subject area
