Responsibilities

As a Mechanical Customer Service Expert at arenaflex, you'll be responsible for:

  • Handling and carefully responding to all customer inquiries, ensuring that their needs are met and their concerns are addressed
  • Providing excellent customer service through active listening, empathy, and a solutions-focused approach
  • Working with confidential customer information and treating it sensitively, adhering to our strict data protection policies
  • Aiming to resolve issues on the first call by being proactive, resourceful, and customer-centric
  • Appropriately communicating with customers, using clear and concise language to ensure understanding and satisfaction
  • Calmly attempting to resolve and de-escalate any issues that may arise, using your exceptional problem-solving skills to find creative solutions
  • Escalating interactions when necessary and appropriate, ensuring that our clients receive the highest level of service possible
  • Tracking all call-related information for auditing and reporting purposes, providing valuable insights to our team and stakeholders
  • Providing feedback on call issues, helping us to identify areas for improvement and optimize our services

Requirements

To succeed in this role, you'll need:

  • Ability to work remotely in a virtual team environment, using your own computer and internet connection
  • 6 months of customer service experience, preferably in a mechanical or technical field
  • Over 18 years of age, with a high school diploma or equivalent
  • Ability to type 25 words per minute, with strong keyboarding skills and accuracy
  • High school graduate or GED, with a strong foundation in English and mathematics
  • Comfort with desktop computer systems, including Windows operating systems and Microsoft Office
  • Proven oral and written communication skills, with the ability to articulate complex ideas in a clear and concise manner
  • Logical problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze situations and find creative solutions
  • Ability to navigate Windows operating systems, with a strong understanding of computer hardware and software

Nice-to-Haves

While not essential, the following skills and qualifications would be highly desirable:

  • Experience working in a mechanical or technical field, with a strong understanding of customer needs and preferences
  • Familiarity with customer relationship management (CRM) software and other technical tools
  • Certification in customer service, such as Certified Customer Service Representative (CCSR) or Certified Customer Service Manager (CCSM)
  • Experience working in a call center or customer service environment, with a strong understanding of call flow and customer interaction
