Video Game Programmer

• This is a Volunteer/Contract Position.* Description: Want to join a Video Game start-up looking to save the video game industry and restore it back to its glory? Then this position is for you! We are looking for a Video Game Programmer with not only knowledge in Video Game Programming, but also an extreme amount of passion for video game development. Someone that will not give up when things get tough or if things take too long to do. This is a once in a life time opportunity to grow with a video game company from scratch and with individuals who want to put out the best possible game we can make at the highest quality. Responsibilities: In general you will be responsible for programming the entire game. Whether that is modifying the engine, machine learning, mathematics, making general systems/algorithms(for ex. Stealth), visual scripting, some performance motioning and more. Whatever falls into video game programming umbrella for video game development is what you will work on and help in. If there is something that needs to get done for the game, but you don't know how to do, it will be your responsibility to learn how to do it. Qualifications/Platform: The most important thing in this company is passion and sharing our values. More than Qualifications because Qualifications you can learn. Passion and sharing our values you cannot. We are developing for most of Apples Platforms. That includes: macOS, iPadOS, visionOS, and a watchOS companion app. This game will utilize arenaflex’s latest technologies including iCloud, Swift, Metal, arenaflex Silicon, Game Center, and Spatial Audio. You will need to know Xcode(including Swift), along with all of the current and future APIs for all of the OS’s.
