Job Summary We're seeking an experienced Data Analyst to join our Transportation Analytics crew, where you'll play a critical role in analyzing large datasets, developing data visualizations, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to drive business decisions. Responsibilities As a Data Analyst at arenaflex, you'll have the opportunity to: * Work with large, messy, disparate datasets: Develop ad-hoc analyses to inform business decisions, create ETLs or scripts to centralize data, and leverage scripting languages to automate reporting tasks. * Develop data visualizations: Create impactful Tableau dashboards to display and quantify the effects of changes and business challenges. * Engage with cross-functional teams: Collaborate with Operations, Finance, and Product groups to ensure data accuracy, completeness, and latency across multiple operations and systems. * Analyze stakeholder needs: Partner with stakeholders to share relevant information, identify business problems, and develop solutions. * Document and share knowledge: Write documentation, share expertise with colleagues, and mentor junior team members to become a Subject Matter Expert. Essential Qualifications * Bachelor's Degree: In a relevant field such as Computer Science, Mathematics, Statistics, or Business Administration. * Excellent SQL Skills: 2-4 years of experience with SQL, with a strong understanding of data modeling, querying, and optimization. * Tableau Experience: 1-2 years of experience with Tableau, with a focus on data visualization, dashboard development, and storytelling. * Business Operations Fluency: Strong understanding of business operations, supply chain management, and transportation experience. * Excellent Communication Skills: Ability to work cross-functionally, communicate complex ideas, and build credibility with stakeholders.
