Job Summary

We're seeking an experienced Data Entry & Processing Professional to join our team on a part-time basis, averaging 15-20 hours per week. This role is ideal for someone who is highly organized, detail-oriented, and able to work independently. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for entering information into our database in real-time, updating job titles, quote/shipment statuses, and sending emails and/or making calls to our manufacturers during business hours. This is a long-term, remote position with the potential for additional responsibilities and career growth opportunities.

Key Responsibilities

* Enter information into our database in real-time, including quote requests, new companies/contacts, and incoming purchase-orders

  • Keep information current by updating job titles, quote/shipment statuses, and other relevant details
  • Send emails and/or make calls to our manufacturers during business hours (M-F, 8-5 eastern time)
  • Provide occasional in-person support at local functions, such as bi-annual trade shows and site visits
  • Work independently with minimal supervision, using your own initiative to manage your workload and prioritize tasks
  • Collaborate with our team to ensure seamless communication and data exchange

Essential Qualifications

* 2+ years of experience in data entry and processing, preferably in a manufacturing or sales-related industry

  • High school diploma or equivalent required; associate's or bachelor's degree in a related field preferred
  • Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects simultaneously
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with our team and manufacturers
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel, Word, and Outlook
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision, using your own initiative to manage your workload and prioritize tasks
  • Reliable internet connection and a quiet, distraction-free workspace

Preferred Qualifications

* Experience working in a remote or virtual environment

  • Familiarity with CRM software and database management systems
  • Knowledge of manufacturing industry trends and practices
  • Certification in data entry or a related field (e.g., Certified Data Entry Specialist)
  • Bilingual or multilingual skills (English and another language)
