Project Portfolio Manager Level 4
About the position Lockheed Martin Aeronautics has embarked on a digital transformational journey that will dramatically change how work is performed. As part of the Aeronautics transformation, Sustainment is seeking a qualified candidate for a Project Portfolio Lead. The Project Portfolio Lead will be responsible for the following:
- Mange baseline budget, schedule, and scope for a varied investment portfolio
- Drive planning and execution across Cross functional Teams to meet cost, schedule, and technical requirements and satisfy customer needs.
- Partner with Sustainment Capability Delivery System Directorates to align and prioritize investments with strategic objectives and customer needs
- Report portfolio performance at all leadership levels
- Collaborate with Sustainment Finance on forecasting and performance reporting
- Provide PM guidance to the portfolio investment teams to support planning and execution
- Manage/Mitigate portfolio risk and opportunities
- Monitor portfolio performance to include labor reporting and vendor invoicing
- Facilitate PO process and act as technical lead on IWTAs

Responsibilities

Requirements
- Bachelors degree from an accredited college or equivalent experience/combined education
- Program or Project management experience (e.g. cost/budgeting, schedule, risk evaluation/mitigation)
- Experience in financial management, metrics and process management
- Demonstrated collaboration and teaming skills at all levels of the organization and work experience developing effective stakeholder and partner relationships
- Systems Engineering, Product Development, or Project Engineering experience
