Job Summary

NetSolve Tech is seeking a highly motivated and technically skilled IT Help Desk Technician to provide remote technical support to our internal teams and clients. The ideal candidate will troubleshoot hardware, software, and network issues, ensuring timely resolution to maintain seamless business operations. This role requires strong communication skills, a customer-focused approach, and the ability to handle multiple technical queries in a fast-paced, remote environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide first-line support for IT-related issues via phone, email, or remote tools.
  • Diagnose and troubleshoot software, hardware, and network problems effectively.
  • Maintain, update, and document IT support requests in the ticketing system.
  • Assist in setting up and configuring workstations, laptops, printers, and other peripherals.
  • Collaborate with senior IT staff to resolve complex technical issues.
  • Educate users on best practices for system usage and security.
  • Monitor system performance and report potential issues proactively.
  • Ensure compliance with company IT policies and procedures.

Required Skills and Qualifications

  • Strong understanding of computer systems, mobile devices, and network troubleshooting.
  • Experience with Windows, macOS, and common business software (Microsoft Office Suite, collaboration tools).
  • Knowledge of network protocols, firewalls, VPNs, and security best practices.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills to interact with non-technical users.
  • Ability to manage multiple support tickets efficiently.

Experience

  • 1–3 years of experience in IT support, help desk, or technical support roles.
  • Previous experience in a remote support environment is a plus.

Working Hours

  • Full-time, remote position with flexible working hours.
  • Occasional availability during off-hours may be required based on business needs.
