Job Responsibilities
As a Customer Service Representative, you will be responsible for:
- Interacting with customers in a courteous, efficient, and professional manner, providing exceptional service and resolving issues in a timely and effective manner.
- Promoting and selling arenaflex's products and services to the traveling public or freight forwarders.
- Providing assistance with passenger check-in and load acceptance, ensuring smooth and efficient operations.
- Interpreting and implementing arenaflex's policies and procedures, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Meeting and dispatching planes within set-up times, ensuring timely and efficient operations.
- Providing assistance to troubled passengers and customers, resolving issues and providing solutions.
- Protecting arenaflex's business assets and revenue, ensuring the security and integrity of our operations.
- Possessing the physical ability and dexterity to perform various job-related duties, including the use of motor skills.
- Using organizational skills to perform multiple tasks within a limited timeframe, ensuring efficient and effective operations.
- Being self-motivated and requiring minimum supervision, working independently and making decisions in a fast-paced environment.
- Responding and assisting during safety and emergency situations, ensuring the safety and well-being of customers and employees.
- Following internal and external regulations and procedures, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.
- May be required to drive and operate air stairs to various types of aircraft to enplane and deplane passengers.
- Responsible for the overall performance in the work location, leading and directing the work of other employees as required.
- May be required to perform Passenger Operation Control capabilities, including air-to-ground communication and Tower capabilities.
Requirements
To succeed in this role, you will need:
- Minimum Qualifications:
+ High school degree or GED + Ability to read, write, fluently speak, and understand the English language + Bilingual language skills may be required in some locations + Applicable valid driver's license as required by local authorities + Must satisfy FAA criminal history checks to qualify for unescorted access to privileges to airport security identification display areas (SIDA), if applicable + Must be able to obtain stable airport authority and/or US Customs security badges, if applicable + Ability to work abnormal and/or prolonged hours, including weekends and holidays + Must be able to work on a regular and timely basis
- Preferred Qualifications:
+ Previous customer service experience in a fast-paced environment + Ability to work in a team environment and provide support to colleagues + Strong communication and interpersonal skills + Ability to adapt to changing situations and priorities + Basic computer skills and familiarity with software applications
