Job Summary

We're seeking an experienced virtual customer service representative to join our team on a contract-to-hire basis. As a key member of our guest relations and operations team, you'll be responsible for providing exceptional support to our guests, resolving issues, and ensuring the smooth operation of our business. If you're a highly skilled and versatile virtual assistant with a passion for guest relations and operations, we want to hear from you!

Key Responsibilities

As a virtual customer service representative, you'll be responsible for the following key responsibilities:

Guest Relations

+ Experience with Guesty and/or HostAI is a plus + Ability to leverage AI for comprehensive guest messaging that resonates as our brand with our travelers. MUST have deep familiarity leveraging ChatGPT + Must be comfortable speaking English on the phone and have the ability to use a VoiP to speak with guests and vendors + Screen Potential Guests + Provide Support For Guests / Resolve guest's issues in Airbnb, VRBO or Marriott + Respond To Guest Inquiries + Communicate and escalate issues to Management via Slack + Achieving 5-star ratings and Superhost Status + Write and respond to guest reviews on Airbnb, VRBO or other platforms

Company Tasks

+ Report maintenance and damage issues to Operations via Operto Teams + Report and submit damage claims to Guesty Shield for reimbursement + Build, manage and report in-house maintenance labor + Working knowledge of business financials/accounting to assist the onboard of accounting systems + Experience in 3rd party vendor relations for tertiary market management

Essential Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you'll need to possess the following essential qualifications:

  • Language Skills: Fluency in English is a must, with perfect grammar and communication skills
  • Availability: Availability and reliability in CST and Eastern United States time zones
  • Technical Skills: Proficiency in using Guesty, HostAI, ChatGPT, and other relevant tools and software
  • Customer Service Skills: Excellent customer service skills, with the ability to resolve issues and provide exceptional support to guests
  • Time Management Skills: Ability to multitask and manage multiple tasks and responsibilities simultaneously

Preferred Qualifications

While not essential, the following qualifications would be highly desirable:

  • Experience in the Hospitality Industry: Previous experience in the hospitality industry, with a focus on guest relations and operations
  • Knowledge of Property Management Systems: Knowledge of property management systems, including Guesty and Operto Teams
  • Experience with Accounting and Financial Systems: Experience with accounting and financial systems, including QuickBooks and other relevant software
