Your Day at arenaflex

As a Customer Service Associate, your day will be filled with a variety of tasks and responsibilities, including:

  • Welcoming customers to arenaflex and providing friendly, professional service
  • Assisting customers with locating and handling merchandise
  • Down stocking merchandise by identifying empty areas on shelves and replenishing supplies
  • Processing orders and deliveries accurately to ensure customers receive merchandise as expected and on time
  • Cross-functionally training in other areas of the store to deliver exceptional customer service
  • Preparing merchandise in your department based on customer needs
  • Guiding customers through shopping or checkout
  • Completing other duties as assigned

Key Responsibilities

* Welcome customers to arenaflex, answer questions, and deliver friendly and professional customer service

  • Assist customers with locating and handling merchandise
  • Down stock merchandise by looking for empty areas on shelves and replenishing supplies
  • Process orders and deliveries accurately so customers receive merchandise as expected and on time
  • Cross-functionally train in other areas of the store to help deliver the best customer service
  • Prepare merchandise in your department based on customer needs (e.g., tint and mix paint, cut and thread pipe, cut and bundle wood, cut drywall, cut blinds)
  • Guide customers through shopping or checkout
  • Complete other duties as assigned

Minimum Qualifications

* 6 Months Experience using a computer, including inputting, accessing, modifying, or outputting information

  • 6 Months Experience using common retail technology, such as smart phones and tablets
  • Reading, writing, and performing basic arithmetic (addition and subtraction)
  • Able to perform duties that may require prolonged standing, sitting, and other activities necessary to perform job duties
  • Minimally lift 25lbs unassisted or over 25lbs with or without an accommodation

Preferred Qualifications

* 6 months of Retail and/or customer service experience

  • Bi-lingual skills
  • Certification in trade related to department (e.g., hardware, kitchen, plumbing, electrical, lawn and garden, and lumber/building materials)

Travel Requirements

This role does not require regular travel; however, this role may need to travel occasionally to meetings, training, or to support neighboring stores.

Working Conditions

Environmental factors vary by location. You may be working in both inside and outside weather conditions. Exposure to varying climates, including extreme heat or cold, wet, damp, humid, windy, or drafty conditions, is possible. You may be exposed to constant or intermittent noises in addition to moving or shaking objects and equipment. Lifting methods vary based on role, weight, and volume. Associates must follow guidelines, limiting single lifts to 75 pounds. Team lifts are used minimally starting at 75 pounds or when needed. Powered equipment should be used as required, with proper training or assistance from a trained coworker.
