Job Overview

In this remote data entry and order management position, you will work from the comfort of your own home in Indianapolis, utilizing your technical expertise to input customer orders into our client's Oracle system and other software platforms as needed. As a key member of our team, you will strive to deliver a stellar customer experience, continually improving the level of customer satisfaction through timely and efficient order processing. With a focus on accuracy, attention to detail, and exceptional customer service, you will be responsible for managing orders throughout the entire order cycle, ensuring compliance with required regulations, policies, and procedures.

Key Responsibilities

  • Process customer purchase orders to meet customer and company commitments, ensuring timely and efficient order processing.
  • Receive, edit, and enter incoming customer purchase orders in an accurate and timely manner, reviewing and verifying orders to ensure accurate information and order specifications.
  • Manage orders in the business system through the entire order cycle, contacting customers to resolve unclear issues and ensuring compliance with required regulations, policies, and procedures.
  • Gather information for measurement, analysis, and reporting, utilizing your analytical skills to drive process improvements and optimize customer satisfaction.
  • Screen all international customer orders to ensure compliance with required regulations, policies, and procedures, maintaining a high level of attention to detail and adherence to quality standards.

Essential Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will require:

  • 3-5 years of data entry and/or customer support experience, with a proven track record of delivering exceptional customer service and driving process improvements.
  • Customer interaction experience, with a strong ability to communicate effectively and build strong relationships with customers.
  • Computer experience, including proficiency in MS Word, MS Excel, MS Outlook, and Oracle, with a strong ability to learn new software programs and systems.
  • An Associate's Degree or equivalent, with a minimum of 2 years of experience in a related field.
  • A High School Diploma or GED, with a strong foundation in mathematics and analytical skills.
  • A background check and drug test will be required as part of the hiring process.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with CRM and/or ERP business systems, with a strong understanding of business operations and process improvements.
