About the Role

In this role, you will be responsible for assisting passengers with reservations, inquiries, and various travel-related concerns. As a member of the arenaflex team, you will be part of a crew that is dedicated to delivering exceptional customer service and ensuring that every passenger has a seamless travel experience. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Completing data access and balancing functions
  • Coordinating return items with contributors, vendors, the Federal Reserve Bank, and other institutions
  • Assisting other departments with fraud resolution, member inquiries, and associated accounting standard ledger balancing
  • Working on member cases and projects assigned
  • Following and maintaining guidelines and procedures to ensure strict compliance with NACHA regulations and guidelines and Federal Banking laws
  • Processing loan payments, multi-account and member deposits, credit card payments, and other checks, including IRA, bankruptcy, and payoff checks
  • Reviewing, examining, and approving Remote Deposit, Mobile, ATM, and other imaged-enabled products
  • Logging, reporting, and making necessary GL, account changes, and/or returns
  • Processing Stop Pays and Check Batching
  • Completing daily balancing and department closing
  • Obtaining information from members for the timely and accurate processing of international and domestic fund transfer requests
  • Researching and confirming incoming and outgoing fund transfer information
  • Communicating with vendors to process fund transfers
  • Understanding and being familiar with outgoing and incoming fund transfer laws
  • Deposit check returns, researching member bad checks on draft changes, processing member checks, confirming members for outgoing fund transfers, and Federal Reserve verifying and releasing fund transfers
  • Completing daily processing of workflows associated with overdue returns, supply of receipts, foreign collections, and legal fees

Essential Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A high school diploma or GED
  • Intermediate Excel and Word skills

Preferred Qualifications

While not required, the following qualifications are preferred:

  • Previous customer/member service experience
  • Previous banking or Credit Union experience
  • Episys/Symitar and processing wires experience

Skills, Licenses, and Certifications

To excel in this role, you will need:

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office software (e.g., Word, Excel, Access, PowerPoint) gained through either work experience with the software or training and hands-on use of the software
  • Ability to work extended hours in support of business needs
  • Ability to exercise excellent customer service skills
  • Ability to perform in a fast-paced environment, handle multiple tasks, and function as an integral part of a team
  • Ability to perform mathematical calculations and analyze data
  • Ability to effectively prioritize work and meet deadlines under high-volume pressure
  • Ability to cross-train and perform any role assigned within the department
  • Ability to interact professionally with all personnel and members
  • Ability to work independently and with minimal supervision
  • Ability to self-motivate with strong organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Ability to effectively prioritize work and meet deadlines
  • Ability to maintain excellent performance and attendance
