Job Description

When you join Intrepy, you become a member of a core team of experts in healthcare digital marketing. This role requires someone who can multitask, who prides themselves in delivering quality work, is well organized, and has strong attention to detail. You will work directly with Intrepy directors to design and develop websites as well as assist with content posting and adjustments. The WordPress Designer/Developer is responsible for working with the Intrepy team to take project scopes from design to development, complete recurring content posting and page adjustments, troubleshoot existing websites with minimal assistance, and provide support with recurring theme/plugin/WP updates. The ideal candidate must be extremely organized, have experience working with medical clients, and have a desire to learn and evolve with a growing company in an ever-changing industry. A passion for web development and design, as well as have an understanding of SEO and site security, are absolute musts. RESPONSIBILITIES: The main responsibilities of this role include, but are not limited to: Design:

  • Design full-solution mockups based on results-driven research and present them to the team
  • Create beautiful and meaningful designs for our client websites which effectively communicate the brand and services while driving conversions
  • Work in Figma
  • Pull images/content from client site without assistance when designing
  • Work with our team and be highly communicative on any needs

Development:

  • Build out any designs in WordPress
  • Develop responsive sites that are mindful of user experience, site speed, SEO, tracking and security
  • Create template modules that fit the team/client needs for recurring content posting tasks
  • Assist with content posting, page adjustments, and client updates
  • Take the initiative in finding a solution even when not familiar with a client's current theme
  • Troubleshoot/Fix client requests and bugs with minimal assistance
  • Assist with Page speed & site performance optimizations
  • Assist with hosting migrations & hosting servers administration
  • Work independently and meet deadlines

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:

  • Proven experience as a Medical/Healthcare website designer (Portfolio’s a plus!)
  • Strong understanding of typography, color theory, and layout design principles
  • Knowledge of web design principles and ability to create designs optimized for the web
  • 4 years working full-time as a WordPress developer (Divi expert preferred! Goal is to be able to convert any design into a website)
  • HTML / CSS Master
  • PHP / Javascript customization experience
  • API integration experience
  • ACF PRO experience
  • Slack
  • Asana
  • Google Drive

Nice-To-Have Skills, but Not Required:

  • WooCommerce
  • Google Tag Manager
  • Google Analytics
  • Google Search Console
  • Webflow

Pay Range: $25 - 28/hr Yearly Bonuses can be earned Job Type: Contract Pay: $25.00 - $28.00 per hour Expected hours: 30 per week Benefits:
