Job Summary
We're seeking an experienced Data Analyst to join our Preparation and Conveyance Activities group, where you'll work closely with cross-functional teams to drive strategic business operations and financial analysis. As a key member of our team, you'll be responsible for developing and implementing data-driven solutions that inform business decisions and drive growth. Key Responsibilities
* Develop a deep understanding of costing and resourcing data related to our internal groups and functional partners
- Support the coordination of high-speed projects that normalize and advance financial cycles across the organization
- Support internal business work processes, including administration costing, labor force management, and asset planning
- Work with various data systems and deliver ad-hoc analysis and reports to support business needs, research, and resolve metrics-based issues
- Archive work processes related to key cycles, data collection and maintenance, including tracking significant decisions and changes
- Collaborate with Data Architects and system designers to support documentation and execution of data set plans
- Build vital dynamic structures and write scripts that help us automate and enhance data analysis
- Develop insights from data and craft compelling storytelling for executive audiences
- Support Planning and Conveyance Activities with impromptu demands from our partners
Essential Capabilities
* 3+ years of experience in informatics, data analysis, data science, or technical fields
- Bachelor's degree in a technical field, such as Information Science, Statistics, Business Finance/Accounting, Informatics, or Software Engineering
- Experience working with data and data control software like R, SQL, Python; building dashboards using tools like Tableau, Looker, Airtable, Smartsheet
- Understanding of social data set plan and capability
- Strong math and analytical skills
- Proven self-starter with solid critical thinking, unwavering discernment, and exceptional communication skills
- Successful collaboration and time management abilities
- Strong attention to detail, with the ability to step back and grasp the big picture
- Excellent written and oral communication skills
- Demonstrated ability to work with design delivery teams to explore technical ideas
- Experience with Success, Smartsheet, or potentially AirTable
Preferred Qualifications
* Master's degree in a technical field
- Experience with data visualization tools like Power BI, D3.js, or Matplotlib
- Familiarity with cloud-based data platforms like AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud
- Certification in data analysis, data science, or related fields
- Experience with agile project management methodologies
