Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced Full Stack Data Engineer to join our team at arenaflex. As a Full Stack Data Engineer, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining large-scale data pipelines and applications that support our business operations. You will work closely with our data science team to integrate data from various sources, ensure data quality and accessibility, and provide insights that drive business decisions.
Key Responsibilities
* Design and develop large-scale data pipelines and applications using cloud-based technologies such as GCP, AWS, and Azure
- Collaborate with data science team to integrate data from various sources, including relational databases, NoSQL databases, and big data platforms
- Ensure data quality and accessibility by implementing data governance policies and procedures
- Develop and maintain ETL (Extract, Transform, Load) processes, data set frameworks, and tools for continuous and batch processing
- Work with cross-functional teams to design and implement data-driven solutions that meet business needs
- Develop and maintain data stores and data models to support information science and other internal clients
- Investigate current data technology trends to identify and evaluate new tools and technologies that meet business needs
- Develop and maintain strong programming skills in Python, SQL, and other relevant languages
- Participate in code reviews and contribute to the development of best practices and standards for data engineering
Essential Qualifications
* Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field
- 5+ years of experience in data engineering, with a strong focus on cloud and big data technologies
- 5+ years of experience with SQL and Python programming languages
- Experience with cloud-based platforms, including GCP, AWS, and Azure
- Strong communication, decision-making, and critical thinking skills
- Experience with data governance policies and procedures
Preferred Qualifications
* Experience with Hadoop, Hive, or PySpark
- Experience with data visualization tools, such as Tableau or Power BI
- Experience with machine learning algorithms and models
- Experience with healthcare industry data and applications
- Certification in data engineering, data science, or related field
Skills and Competencies
