The AgroFresh organization has 40 years of post-harvest experience across a broad range of crops, including pome fruit (apples/pears), citrus, avocados, and mangoes – and we continue to expand into new countries and crops and pre-harvest.What The Role DeliversFabricate, assemble, install application and support equipment used in company's chemical application services. Assists with preventive and corrective maintenance of application equipment to ensure long-term economic operation to support our customers.Key Responsibilities

• form, fabricate, assemble, install, and troubleshoot application equipment
• adherence to all safety policies i.e.. elevated work, PPE, etc.
• work may include pipefitting, welding, grinding, electrical and plumbing systems
• facilitate equipment and productivity improvements
• always keep shop in an orderly and safe manner
• proper storage of mechanical stores and parts
• forklift operation including maintaining forklift operation certificate
• support application services during harvest season
• other duties as assigned

• High school graduate or GED
• minimum of 3 years fabrication and welding experience
• good spoken and written English; Spanish a plus
• basic arithmetic skills required
• able to work on multiple projects simultaneously
• able to move freely in a production and maintenance shop environment
• able to perform welding, pipe fitting, minor electrical, carpentry and millwright work
• able to climb stairs and ladders and lift 50 pounds.
• DMV and driver extract required (3 years)
• must be able to obtain commercial pesticide applicators license within 90 days of employment
