Job Summary
As a Full Stack Custom Circuits Design Engineer at arenaflex, you will be part of a talented team that designs and develops cutting-edge ASICs for various applications. You will work closely with our silicon configuration team to create custom digital megacells, including SRAM memories, on-chip sensors, and ML accelerators. Your expertise will be crucial in developing high-performance, low-power SOC solutions that meet the demands of our customers.
Key Responsibilities
* Design and develop custom circuits for advanced ASICs, including SRAM memories, on-chip sensors, and ML accelerators
- Collaborate with the power group, PD, and designers to define requirements and specifications
- Perform plan, analysis, modeling, circuit-level determination, schematic capture, spice simulation/edge analysis across PVT, measurement plan, and silicon validation
- Work closely with the format group to complete the design and ensure design quality
- Create and drive circuit procedures to achieve the highest design quality metrics
- Participate in design reviews and provide feedback to improve the design process
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and emerging technologies to ensure arenaflex remains at the forefront of innovation
Essential Qualifications
* Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or related field
- At least 3 years of experience in custom circuit design and development
- Strong understanding of deep submicron device physics, leakage mechanisms, and technology interactions with device behavior
- Profound knowledge of device noise sources (1/f, thermal), external noise sources (supply, jitter), and their impact on high-accuracy circuit
- Experience with design automation tools, such as Python/Perl or other scripting languages
- Familiarity with industry-standard circuit and design tools
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team
Preferred Qualifications
* Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or related field
- Experience with AI accelerators, SRAM circuits, non-volatile memories, weak/strong inversion circuits, super-low power amplifiers, DC/DC converters, and advanced on-chip sensors
- Knowledge of industry-standard design languages, such as Verilog or VHDL
- Experience with design for testability (DFT) and design for manufacturing (DFM)
- Familiarity with silicon validation and testing methodologies
