Key Responsibilities

As a part-time Pharmacy Technician & Customer Service Representative at arenaflex, your primary responsibilities will include:

  • Answering Phones and Responding to Orders: You will be responsible for answering incoming calls, responding to orders, re-orders, and general customer inquiries in a timely and professional manner.
  • Handling and Resolving Client Complaints: You will work closely with clients to resolve any issues or concerns they may have, providing empathetic and effective solutions to ensure their satisfaction.
  • Triage Incoming Faxes: You will triage incoming faxes by facility/department and in accordance with cutoff times, ensuring that all orders are processed efficiently and accurately.
  • Clarifying Orders: You will clarify orders as needed, ensuring that all necessary information is obtained and that orders are processed correctly.

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need to possess the following qualifications and skills:

  • Active NJ Board of Pharmacy, Pharmacy Technician License: You must hold an active license as a pharmacy technician in the state of New Jersey.
  • Previous Experience in Pharmacy: You must have previous experience working in a pharmacy setting, with a strong understanding of pharmacy operations and procedures.
  • LTC Pharmacy Experience Preferred: While not required, experience working in a long-term care (LTC) pharmacy setting is highly preferred.
  • Knowledge of Brand Name and Generic Medications: You must have a strong understanding of brand name and generic medications, including their uses, side effects, and interactions.
  • Strong Attention to Detail and Organizational Skills: You must be able to work accurately and efficiently, with a strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Moderate to Advanced Computer Skills: You must have moderate to advanced computer skills, including experience with data entry software and other relevant systems.
  • Great Telephone Etiquette: You must possess excellent telephone etiquette, with the ability to communicate effectively and professionally with clients.
  • Frameworks / ECM Knowledge a Plus: While not required, knowledge of frameworks and electronic medical records (EMRs) is a plus.

Preferred Qualifications

* High School Diploma or Equivalent: While not required, a high school diploma or equivalent is preferred.

  • Certification as a Pharmacy Technician: Certification as a pharmacy technician is highly preferred.
