Key Responsibilities

As a participant in our MBA Leadership Development Program, you'll have the opportunity to work in various departments, including Network Planning, Revenue Management, Marketing, Sales, Reservations, and Customer Experience. Your key responsibilities will include:
  • Maximizing profitability by aligning capacity with demand through strategic aircraft deployment and development of new city and route opportunities.
  • Investigating competitors' pricing actions, initiating sales and promotions to maintain market share, and analyzing airline consumer behavior to devise creative strategies for capturing additional revenue.
  • Leveraging data to develop promotion and channel strategies to drive incremental passenger revenue or improve values-led communication strategies with customers.
  • Improving the travel experience for Delta's corporate clients by analyzing the financial contribution of incentive programs and developing new sales strategies to generate incremental revenue.
  • Developing recommendations for process improvements for reservations centers, call-handling, and segmentation to improve customer service, employee engagement, and maximize cost efficiencies.
  • Enhancing the overall customer experience (CX) through data-driven insights and creative solutions.

What You Need To Succeed

To excel in our MBA Leadership Development Program, you'll need to possess the following qualifications:
  • Current MBA student with a planned graduation date by Summer 2025.
  • At least three years of post-undergraduate work experience in a dynamic, professional environment or relevant military experience.
  • Ability to work onsite in our Atlanta, GA office for the duration of the program.
  • Curiosity about the airline industry and a passion for leadership, customer experience, and revenue growth.
  • Strong analytical and creative problem-solving skills, with a consistent track record of excellence.
  • Ability to excel in fast-paced, matrix-team environments and prioritize safety and security of self, others, and personal data.
  • Embracing diverse people, thinking, and styles, with a high school diploma, GED, or high school equivalency, and authorization to work in the United States.
