The Role
As an Area Manager at arenaflex, you'll be responsible for leading a team of hourly workforce and ensuring that our customer expectations are met. You'll play a key role in maintaining the highest levels of safety, quality, attendance, and performance, while also collaborating with support teams to develop plans to meet business objectives. Your primary focus will be on supporting, mentoring, and motivating your team to deliver exceptional results.
Key Responsibilities and Job Elements
* Support, mentor, and motivate your hourly workforce to achieve exceptional results
- Manage safety, quality, productivity, and customer delivery promises to ensure customer satisfaction
- Collaborate with support teams, including Safety, Engineering, Loss Prevention, Quality Assurance, and Human Resources, to develop plans to meet business objectives
- Lift up to 49 pounds and frequently push, pull, squat, bend, and reach to perform tasks
- Stand/walk for up to 12 hours during shifts in a fast-paced environment
- Work in an environment where the noise level varies and can be loud
- Work in an environment that is subject to variable temperatures and weather (delivery stations include outside loading departments)
- Continuously climb and descend stairs (applies to sites with stairs)

We hire Area Managers based on location preference and the business's current openings, so you'll have the flexibility to choose a role that suits your needs.
Essential Qualifications
* High school diploma or equivalent required; degree in a related field (e.g., business, operations, or customer service) preferred
- 1-2 years of experience in a customer-facing or operations role, with a focus on leadership and team management
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a team
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with variable noise levels and temperatures
- Physical stamina to perform tasks that require lifting, pushing, pulling, squatting, bending, and reaching
Preferred Qualifications
* Experience in a customer service or operations role, with a focus on leadership and team management
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to develop and implement plans to meet business objectives
- Experience working in a remote or virtual environment
- Familiarity with arenaflex's products and services, or a strong understanding of the e-commerce industry
