Job Summary

In this exciting role, you'll be the face of arenaflex, greeting everyone who walks through our doors and proactively approaching customers to understand their needs and support their shopping experience. As the primary customer service provider at the front end, you'll serve as a liaison between customers and management, ensuring that every customer interaction is nothing short of exceptional. Whether you're providing register coverage, supporting cashiers through complex transactions, or upholding our merchandising and presentation standards, you'll be the driving force behind delivering strong customer service standards that exceed our customers' expectations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Greet everyone (teammates and customers) and proactively approach customers to understand their needs and support their shopping experience
  • Serve as primary customer service provider at the front end and liaison between customers and management
  • Provide register coverage as needed and ensure strong customer service standards are met by supporting cashiers through complex transactions
  • Uphold company merchandising and presentation standards by following established floor sets, signage requirements, price changes, inventory presentation, and replenishment standards
  • Collaborate with teammates to achieve sales goals, improve customer satisfaction, and drive business results
  • Stay up-to-date with product knowledge, promotions, and events to provide accurate and helpful information to customers

Essential Qualifications

To succeed in this role, you'll need to possess a combination of skills, experience, and personal qualities that make you an exceptional customer service professional. These include:

  • 1-2 years of retail customer service experience, preferably in a sports-related environment
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills

  • Basic math skills and ability to operate a cash register
