Job Summary
As a Data Entry Operator, you'll be responsible for entering data from images into our data capture system, ensuring accuracy and completeness through cross-referencing and editing. You'll also be responsible for receiving and processing customer requests for technical assistance, submitting tickets into our ticketing system, and providing exceptional customer service through email responses. Key Responsibilities
* Enter data from images into the data capture system, utilizing basic knowledge of computer software or system
- Cross-reference data to ensure accuracy and completeness, scanning and editing for errors during entry
- Receive and process customer requests for technical assistance, submitting tickets into the ticketing system
- Review open tickets to determine the outcome from the Help Desk, emailing responses to customers to ensure exceptional customer service
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of customer interactions and ticket status
- Collaborate with the Help Desk team to resolve customer issues and provide timely updates
Qualifications and Requirements
* No prior experience is required, but previous I.T. Help Desk ticket experience or online customer service experience for a technology company or busy online retailer is highly desirable
- Excellent typing skills (minimum 40 wpm) and attention to detail are essential
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a strong focus on customer satisfaction
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to provide clear and concise email responses to customers
- Ability to learn and adapt to new software and systems quickly
- High school diploma or equivalent required; degree in a related field (e.g. computer science, business administration) is an asset
Preferred Qualifications
* Previous experience in a data entry or customer service role
- Familiarity with ticketing systems and help desk software
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with multiple priorities and deadlines
- Experience with email marketing and customer communication
