Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Senior Data Analyst to join our Business Intelligence and Analytics team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for analyzing complex data sets, identifying trends and patterns, and developing actionable insights to inform business decisions. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to drive business growth, improve customer experiences, and optimize business processes.

Key Responsibilities

* Assemble comprehensive analyses, data visualizations, and multi-functional reporting that provide critical support to business initiatives and decision-making processes.

• Respond to key business questions and provide expert knowledge on various business streams, including D+ and Hulu, to enhance customer experiences and drive business growth.
• Advance the analytical capabilities of the business, collaborate in the design of analytical solutions, and deliver exceptional data insights and products.
• Utilize data visualization tools, SQL, and programming languages to access and analyze structured and unstructured data.
• Apply statistical techniques (t-test, chi-square, ANOVA, correlation, Regression, Factor Analysis, etc.) to understand customer behavior and preferences, and drive business impact across the organization.

Essential Qualifications

* Bachelor's degree in a quantitative field, such as mathematics, statistics, computer science, or engineering.

• 3+ years of professional experience as a data analyst in an analytics and data science space with expertise in SQL, Python, or R for complex querying, high-level analysis, performance optimization, and working with large datasets.
• Experience in delivering end-to-end analysis projects: from unclear requirements to a compelling story, accessible to diverse audiences, and ultimately to a clear business outcome.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal (written and oral) skills, with the ability to build strong working relationships with colleagues, stakeholders, and technical partners.
• Ability to present to senior leadership.

Good TO-HAVES

* Master's degree in a quantitative field.

• Demonstrated data visualization skills with tools such as Matplotlib, Seaborn, Looker, MicroStrategy, Plotly, etc.
• Experience with marketing landing pages, sign-up channels, and business spaces.
• Ability to identify and properly escalate issues to management.
• Counseling background, MBA, or other multi-industry experience.
• Strong motivation and ability to work independently.
• Exceptional written and oral communication skills.
• Humor and ability to connect with others.
• Unique interests or areas of expertise that impact the way you interact with others and tackle business challenges.
