Job Overview

As a Phone and Chat Support Specialist at arenaflex, you will play a crucial role in connecting nurses with healthcare facilities that need to fill shifts. Your primary responsibilities will include navigating online platforms to verify the credentials of nurses, following up with them to confirm the validity of their credentials, and handling inbound and outbound calls to provide updates on shift assignments. You will also be responsible for managing multiple chat channels, identifying customers' needs, and providing solutions and alternatives in a timely and professional manner.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage large volumes of inbound and outbound calls in a timely and efficient manner
  • Navigate online platforms to verify the credentials of nurses and follow up with them to confirm the validity of their credentials
  • Handle multiple chat channels simultaneously, providing exceptional customer service and support
  • Identify customers' needs, clarify information, research, and provide solutions and/or alternatives
  • Access company and client resources to accurately handle calls and provide support
  • Perform data entry and customer service tasks with accuracy and efficiency
  • Navigate online platforms efficiently to access information and provide support
  • Work on requests and records received for shift sign-ups, identifying customers' needs and researching to see if requests have the necessary credentials
  • Skillfully transition between tasks without losing efficiency or composure
  • Maintain punctuality and attendance at all scheduled times, remaining available at your desk and ready to work
  • Remain positive and professional in all customer interactions, providing exceptional service and support
  • Flexibility to cross-train as requested, adapting to changing needs and priorities

Qualifications and Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need to have:

  • At least 1 year of customer service or customer support experience
  • At least 1 year of previous call center or office background experience
  • Technical savvy and proficiency in using online platforms and software applications
  • Previous remote work from home experience is a plus, but not required
  • Ability to learn quickly and work independently with minimal supervision
  • Typing speed of 35 words per minute with high accuracy
  • Strong phone and verbal communication skills, along with active listening and problem-solving abilities
  • A background check applicable with state and federal laws is required
