We're looking for a highly skilled Senior Software Engineer to join our team in Valley Forge, PA. As a key member of our Agile development team, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and deploying modern user interfaces and back-end services using Javascript (Node.js) or Java technologies. You will work on a mission-critical project that requires a deep understanding of Java, Linux, and containerization technologies. Basic Qualifications:
- Experienced developing software using Javascript (Node.js) and/or Java
- Experience working in an Agile development environment, using tools such as Jira and Confluence
- Experience with application containerization (e.g. Docker, Kubernetes, Helm, Rancher, etc.) in a cloud environment (AWS/Azure/Openstack/Openshift)
- Candidate must be eligible for TS/SCI clearance, but no clearance is required to start Desired Skills:
- Experience with GitLab CI/CD pipelines
- Experience with creating, running, and maintaining automated tests for testing software
- Experience with software version control tools, such as Git
- Familiarity with the Space Domain
- Ability to communicate effectively and work in a collaborative environment Security Clearance Statement: This position requires a government security clearance, you must be a US Citizen for consideration. Ability to Work Remotely: Onsite Full-time: The work associated with this position will be performed onsite at a designated Lockheed Martin facility. Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
