Job Responsibilities:
As a Senior Data Scientist at arenaflex, you will be responsible for:
- Utilizing quantitative analysis and data visualization to uncover insights and drive business decisions
- Building full-cycle data analysis pipelines, reports, and dashboards using SQL, R, Python, or other programming languages
- Collaborating with junior experts to develop and implement advanced data analysis techniques and address complex challenges
- Developing data-driven recommendations and using statistical procedures and hypothesis testing to validate findings
- Providing insights to business and product leaders to understand market trends, customer behavior, and long-term patterns
- Identifying and quantifying opportunities to improve key metrics and develop actionable proposals
- Working backwards from understanding and measuring issues to ideating solutions
- Reporting against our objectives by identifying key metrics and building leader-facing dashboards to track progress
- Collaborating with engineering teams to implement, report, validate, and monitor our data pipelines
What We're Looking For:
* A degree in Mathematics, Physics, Statistics, Economics, Computer Science, or a related field
- 4+ years of experience in data analysis, consulting, or a related field
- Experience working with data pipeline optimization, customer segmentation, cohort analysis, time series analysis, regression models, and other advanced data analysis techniques
- Mastery of SQL queries, ETL, A/B testing, and statistical analysis (e.g., hypothesis testing, experimentation, regression) with statistical packages like Matlab, R, SAS, or Python
- Proficiency in at least one data visualization and reporting tool (e.g., Chartio, Looker, Tableau)
- The ability to take ambiguous problems and solve them in a structured, hypothesis-driven, data-driven way
