The SAP Basis Administrator plays a critical role in ensuring the smooth operation of our SAP systems and applications. Key Responsibilities

• Install, configure, and maintain SAP systems, including SAP ECC, SAP S/4HANA, SAP BW/BI, SAP GRC, and Solution Manager
• Perform system updates, patches, and installations of SAP software components
• Conduct AIX operating system upgrades, patches, and installations
• Perform routine system administration tasks, such as user copy, system copy, user export/import, and system refresh
• Monitor system performance, troubleshoot issues, and optimize system resources to ensure high availability and performance
• Manage the SAP Transport Management System (TMS) for transporting changes between SAP systems
• Develop and implement backup and recovery strategies for SAP systems
• Design and manage interfaces and integration between SAP and non-SAP systems
• Analyze system performance metrics, identify bottlenecks, and implement performance tuning measures to enhance system performance
• Maintain accurate documentation of SAP system configurations, procedures, and standards
• Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and company policies (SOX, PCI, Corporate, etc.)

Essential Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
• Proven experience as a SAP Basis Administrator or in a similar role with 7+ years of experience in a medium to large-sized organization
• Demonstrated expertise in SAP installation, configuration, and administration
• SAP certifications are a plus
• Exceptional DB2 and AIX skills and knowledge
• In-depth understanding of SAP technologies, architecture, and components
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Willingness to continuously improve processes by implementing automation whenever possible
• Flexibility to work outside regular business hours for system maintenance and support activities
