Job Description

Are you a visionary affiliate marketing professional with a proven track record of driving significant online growth? Wild Horizons, a leading adventure tourism company in Victoria Falls, Zimbabwe, is seeking a talented and strategic Remote Affiliate Marketing Manager to join our global team. This is a unique opportunity to shape and expand our digital footprint, connecting with a worldwide network of partners to promote our diverse range of adventure activities, safaris, and accommodation offerings. As our Remote Affiliate Marketing Manager, you will be instrumental in developing, executing, and optimizing our affiliate marketing strategy from conception to conversion. You will identify, recruit, and nurture high-value affiliates, negotiate competitive commission structures, and continuously monitor performance to ensure maximum ROI. This role demands a proactive individual with exceptional analytical skills, a deep understanding of digital marketing landscapes, and the ability to thrive in a remote work environment. You will be a key player in extending the Wild Horizons brand reach across various international markets, bringing the magic of Matabeleland North's natural wonders to a broader audience. Key Responsibilities

  • Develop, implement, and manage comprehensive affiliate marketing strategies to drive bookings and brand awareness.
  • Identify, recruit, and onboard new high-quality affiliate partners across relevant industries (travel, lifestyle, adventure, etc.).
  • Negotiate and manage affiliate agreements, including commission structures and performance incentives.
  • Monitor affiliate performance, analyze data, and provide regular reports on key metrics (e.g., traffic, conversions, ROI).
  • Optimize existing affiliate programs and campaigns for maximum effectiveness and profitability.
  • Cultivate strong relationships with affiliates, providing them with necessary tools, resources, and support.
  • Stay abreast of industry trends, competitor activities, and new technologies in affiliate marketing.
  • Collaborate with internal marketing, sales, and product teams to ensure alignment of affiliate initiatives with overall business goals.
  • Manage the affiliate marketing budget and ensure campaigns are executed within financial guidelines.
  • Ensure all affiliate activities comply with company policies and relevant advertising regulations.

Required Skills

  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in affiliate marketing, preferably in the travel or e-commerce sector.
  • Proven track record of managing and growing successful affiliate programs.
  • Strong understanding of digital marketing channels, including SEO, SEM, social media, and content marketing.
  • Proficiency with affiliate tracking platforms and analytics tools (e.g., Google Analytics, Impact Radius, PartnerStack).
  • Excellent negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Data-driven mindset with strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects in a remote environment.
  • Proficiency in English, both written and verbal.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, or a related field.
  • Experience working with international markets and diverse affiliate partners.
  • Knowledge of the tourism and hospitality industry, especially adventure travel.
  • Familiarity with CRM software and project management tools.
  • Additional language proficiency (e.g., German, French, Spanish).
